Lori Koethe

Born and raised in Lorain, Lori met her husband Jon their first day of high school. They married in 1991 and moved to Vermilion where they remain. Their son, Matt, is 23 years old.

Lori holds a nursing diploma, a BSN, and Masters of Science in Health Law. An RN for 30 years, Lori has worked for the last 15 years in hospital administration. She is currently the Vice President of Nursing at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton.

Stacie was born in Amherst, Ohio and graduated from Wellington High School.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.

Jim Chapple Rear Commodore

Jim Chapple

Jim has been a long time Vermilion Boat Club member and a boater in the Vermilion area since the age of 5.  His parents were VBC members, so Jim was raised at VBC and then became a member in the late 1970’s. Jim has been involved in VBC as a Trustee for the Kid’s committee when his son, Josh, was growing up and most recently served the club as the Secretary of the Board.  He currently owns a 20’ Sea Ray named “Life is Good”.

Mike and his wife Georgann are recently retired. They now pursue their passions for scuba diving, shipwreck hunting, visiting grandchildren and traveling the world.
